Welcome

Ruby’s Ukes is Vancouver’s Ukulele school with classes, workshops & Vancouver’s Ukulele festival. A Ukulele haven for all those interested in learning, playing and enjoying all things Ukulele. From absolute novice to advanced player, Ruby’s Ukes  has the course for you!

We present 10 week Ukulele Courses that take place weekly in a beautiful downtown heritage building. Learning a swing, jazz, blues & folk repertoire. Classes will leave you smiling and a whole lot smarter! With instructors, Guido Heistek, Daphne ‘Ruby’ Roubini, and Andrew Smith.

Founded in 2009, Ruby’s Ukes has been providing the perfect environment to learn the Ukulele with a fun, easy and successful approach. These group classes are perfect for all time schedules and levels of playing ~ offering evening, weekday, and weekend classes for the absolute beginner to advanced player.

Ruby’s Ukes 10 week Ukuleles Courses run every September, January and April, with workshops, and additional classes throughout the year.

“Our workshops work because they’re so much fun,” explains Daphne. “People help and learn from each other. It doesn’t matter what level you’re on. When people are sharing the moment, you’re playing with new friends. No-one feels exposed or under pressure.”
