About our zoom classes~
“Our zoom classes work because we distilled the Ruby’s Ukes’ magic that has made us one of the largest in person Ukulele educators outside of Hawaii, and present these tried and true methods in a live zoom, on-line interactive format. With attention to sound quality, visual aids, and a very fun and in-person feel. Unlike other static video courses we provide an appointment to play each week, with practice recommendations to make your week a more inspired, relaxed, fun, comfortable one.” explains Daphne. “People learn from each others questions and we are so excited with the feedback we are getting from students who feel enlivened by class  whilst they are learning too. It doesn’t matter what level you are at people are sharing the moment, you’re playing with new friends. No-one feels exposed or under pressure. Our mission now is to bring the joy of music into your own home!”

We have been teaching on-line since March 2020 and now have an additional class materials page that students attending class have access to. These materials include song charts with words and chords, Arrangements with melody playing (using tablature), with audio samples of chord progressions, and melodies to be played (at varying speeds), technique handouts, and NEW this term we have added short videos of taught techniques as an additional visual tool.  Please note for the safety and comfort of all students in their homes we do not record the zoom lessons so that you can kick back and relax and enjoy class knowing that the key elements you will need to practice, in a fun and efficient way, will be available to you 24/7 on the class materials page!
